· In order to book a slot you must first register via this website. You cannot book a slot without registering an account first. Please see the "account" icon to register. Once registered you will see the available slots in the section below.
· By registering individual details on the website you are also agreeing to the code of conduct and conditions of use for the multi-use track. For all documentation please see the Policies and Procedures page.
· Children via Adults must also register. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an Adult whilst using the track.
· Children must also adhere to the conditions of use and code of conduct. Parents are responsible are responsible for the behaviour and conduct of children using the facility.
· There may be times when clubs or groups have a group block booking. This means that the group or club have sole use of the facility for this set time and date and is not available for booking.
· The multi -use track is available for the use of walking, running, cycling and wheelchair use. For health and safety purpose cycling and running/walking need to be separate sessions to ensure the safety of all users on the track.
· Dogs are not to be brought onto the track or field. Cumbria County Council, do not allow dogs on the site.
· No spikes, stilettoes or football studs are to be worn on the track.
· Please adhere to information on the signage on site.
· Unauthorised use will result in a request to leave.
· Balls and ball sports are not permitted on the school field outside of school hours without permission of Millom School and Millom Community Track.
· During school term and school hours (8.00 am to 5.50 pm) the track is not available for booking without permission from Millom School in writing.
· Currently there is no cost/fee to book the facility.
Millom Community Track is not open to public use during School Hours.
Millom Community Track can be booked by school groups during term time if agreed with Millom School. Please contact Millom School using the button below to make arrangements.
School hours are 08:00-18:00
· No dogs allowed on the field and track.
· All children under 16 must be accompanied by an Adult.
· No ball games.
· No smoking.
· In order to use the track Adults and Children must register via the website and book a place to use the facility.
· Cycling and walk/running slots must be separate and not mixed sessions for health and safety reasons.
· Respect must be shown to other users of the track.
· No spikes or studded footwear to be used on the track
· Individuals must respect block bookings and accept that the track it not available to be used at that time.
· Consumption of drugs or alcohol is prohibited.
· Users should keep to agreed timing/booking of use. Bookings are not permitted to run past the time of booking.
· No Stilettoes to be worn on the track
· Suitable kit should be worn whilst using the track. Unsuitable kit could result in a user being asked to leave the track. Repeated warnings re this may lead to a user being banned from using the track in the future.
· Group/club bookings require a designated committee member or coach to make the booking. They must be over 18. Their liability insurance information should be submitted on the booking form.
· Respect the rights, dignity and worth of every individual that uses the multi-use track. Treating everyone equally.
· Group/club bookings must have appropriately qualified official, including DBS clearance, up to date appropriate licence from relevant sport, with liability insurance cover. There must be appropriate coaches to participant ratios.
· Anyone using the facilities must act with dignity and display courtesy and good manners towards others.
· No swearing or abusive language.
· No irresponsible behaviour, including behaviour that is dangerous to yourself and others. No acts of violence, bullying, harassment and physical and sexual abuse will be tolerated. These behaviours will be taken seriously and reported.
· All litter should be taken home and not left at the track.
· Reports any accidental injury via the website.
· Personal items are left at owners own risk and not the responsibility of Millom Community Track or Millom School.
· Any unauthorised use (no evidence of booking) may result in an individual being asked to leave the facility immediately.
· Persistent breaking of the conditions of use or refusal to use the booking system may lead to a ban on future use of the facility for a period of time. Agreed between Millom Community Track and Millom School.
· Understanding and respect to the signage re the use of the track should be adhered to at all times.
· All track activities should take place in a safe manner.
· Group/club bookings must nominate a named person who has responsibility for the adequacy, suitability and safety of all equipment brought onto the track.
· Track registrants and named person for group bookings must ensure you have a fully charged mobile phone to use in the event that you need to summon medical aid in a case of an emergency.
· No vehicles to be taken onto the track or school fields.
· No trespassing onto neighbouring land or property.
· Area fences and any school property will not be damaged.
· There will be no excessive noise or disturbance.
· Any damages or faults must be reported as soon as practicable, via the website via contact us.
· Millom School visitor’s car park is available for use to those that have booked to use the track at the designated time. There may be times when the school needs to have full use or the car park due to school activities. In this event you will be notified that the car park is out of use, in order that alternative car parking can be made.
· Any incident or accident must be reported. Please ensure you contact Millom Community Track website so that the accident/incident can be appropriately reported.
· Please contact Millom Community Track website if you ate no longer able to meet the booking. This is so that the slot can be made available for someone else to use instead.
· Millom Community track has a safeguarding policy ion place. All registrants have a duty of care to report any Adult or child safeguarding concerns via contact us on the Millom Community Track website.
· The track is not supervised by Millom Community Track or Millom School.
· Users use the facility at their own risk
